A BIT ABOUT US
YMS is a family run business established in 2016, headed up by Danny Holmes who has 30+ years in the industry. We started out on Windmill House Industrial Estate where we started in unit 3 and then moved to unit 1, in 2020 with the changes in the world due to Covid-19 we decided our priorities had changed and made the biggest decision for our lives and business, we moved to Fridaythopre and built a workshop on our land and now we live and work from home in the idyllic Yorkshire Wolds. We still offer precision engineering solutions to a diverse customer base from our new workshop in Fridaythorpe.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
We use both manual & CNC lathes & milling machines that can accommodate from a 3mm collet up to 21" diameter x 80" long (32" diameter x 8" thick with the gap removed). We can give design help to customers who have an idea they would like to bring to fruition using our computer aided design service. We can also advise on the suitability of material to accommodate your needs and can supply material certification if required.
